Architectural Concept & Tempered Tradition
Dr. Reddy’s Bungalow is designed not to fit into a passing trend, but to stand as a timeless piece of architecture. By merging regional idioms (tiles, arches, stone) with modern programming (large functional terraces, integrated greenery), we have created a home that reflects the stature and lifestyle of its inhabitants while providing a sanctuary of light and air.
The core design concept for the Reddy Bungalow is “Tempered Tradition.” The vision was to create a stately family home that anchors itself deeply in the rich architectural history of Southern India while rigorously adhering to contemporary standards of luxury, space planning, and climate responsiveness. Instead of rejecting historical forms, we sought to re-contextualize them. The building is a dialogue between the robust, permanent feel of colonial Bangalore’s buildings and the intimate, light-filled warmth of modern vernacular architecture.
